How to convert
- Drop your file into the box or click Choose file.
- Type and edit right on the page and use the toolbar to format, insert tables, images and page breaks.
- Click Save Word file to download; export PDF, TXT or HTML from the File tab.
When to use it
Quickly edit contracts, quotes, letters and forms when Word isn't installed, you're on someone else's computer, or you only have a phone or tablet.
Tips
Ctrl+B / I / U for bold, italic, underline; Tab inside a list to indent a level; the Layout tab has page sizes, margins and headers / footers (type {n} for page numbers); apply Headings 1–3, then Insert → Contents; the AI tab rewrites, fixes spelling or translates the selected text.
Good to know
Text, lists, tables, images, alignment and page size are kept when saving .docx. Footnotes, text boxes and images inside headers / footers aren't supported yet — you're warned before editing. Unsaved documents are kept in your browser for 7 days.
FAQ
Is my Word file uploaded to a server?
No. The file is opened and edited in your browser; unsaved drafts stay in your own browser storage (removed after 7 days).
Will saving keep the formatting?
Yes. Bold / italic / underline, font sizes, colors, alignment, lists, tables, images and page size are kept. Headers / footers with page numbers and automatic tables of contents are kept too; footnotes and text boxes aren't supported yet — you'll be warned before editing.
