How FileCustom handles data, cookies and advertising.

1. Your files

The PDF, image and QR tools process files inside your browser. Files are not uploaded to, stored on or shared with our servers.

2. AI PDF tools

When you use Chat with PDF, Summarize, Translate or Question Generator and click agree, the text extracted from the PDF (not the file) is sent to Cloudflare Workers AI for processing. We do not keep this content. Don't use the AI tools for confidential documents.

3. Browser storage

The site stores a few settings in your browser (light/dark theme, saved signatures, drafts, your AI consent). This data stays on your device; clear the site data in your browser to remove it.

4. Advertising and third-party cookies

We may show ads from Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Advertising cookies enable Google and its partners to serve ads to you.

You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings (adssettings.google.com), or opt out of third-party vendor cookies at www.aboutads.info. Learn how Google uses data: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

5. Technical logs

Our infrastructure provider (Cloudflare) may log technical data such as IP address and browser type to operate the service and prevent abuse.

6. Children

The service is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their information.
